Overview

Campaigns allow customers to perform outbound calling, meaning that they can have the AI Assistant call lists of customers and talk to them about a given subject/campaign. For example, they could call a list of current or past customers and have the AI Assistant tell them about an upcoming promotion and see if they want to schedule an appointment to take advantage of it.

Outbound calling can be done in two ways: 1) via API and 2) via the portal UI. The API can be used in many ways such as to automatically call a user back after they submit a contact form.

We will be enabling campaigns for outbound emails and texting in the future. Note that to do outbound texting campaigns, there are stricter regulations and the business must have opt-in approval from end-users.

Outbound calling is available for Plus accounts only.

Outbound calling API

To enable outbound calling for a specific account, send an email to [email protected] with “Outbound API Request” in the subject and include the email of the customer’s heylibby account.

We will add their API client and secret key and inform you when that is in (generally less than 1 business day.) Once those are set, the user will be able to access them via the Campaign page in the customer portal.

The user can set up and execute on outbound calling campaigns via the user portal by clicking on ‘Campaigns’ in the left navigation.

When they first sign up for plus they will be automatically enabled for outbound campaigns in ‘demo mode’. This means that they will NOT have caller ID enabled and they will only be able to call 5 customers at a time in the UI.

In order to set the user up for full access and to enable caller ID, follow the same process outlined in the texting set up process (same information is needed.). Then also let heyLibby know how many calls the customer intends to do per campaign. We will then let you know when the set up is complete.
